When we loaded up to head to Louisville for the Summer Type Conference, a Duroc boar was not necessarily on the top of our wish list. When Doug’s boar hit the ring, it suddenly became a priority to own this stud and join the team of Lifetime, Magnitude, Shameless, and Light ‘Em Up. Once he was named Champion Duroc Boar of the show it became a no brainer. This one blew us away for being extra heavy skeletoned and extra mobile on his feet and legs. ALL SHOOK UP possesses barrow frame and width in a muscular, shapely package with an up, high head carriage that commands attention. His chest floor is big and his hock set is wide and as square as you can make it. The best part is that all four of his feet point in the right direction when on the go. This one, since the show, has absolutely exploded into a monster; much like Light ‘Em Up did one year ago. This one offers some similarities in terms of pedigree compared to LEU but then throws a little different splash into the mix. ALL SHOOK UP has a pedigree that reads Elvis x Bold Ruler. Elvis is sired by King and is out of Bold Ruler’s sister. This is a boar that Doug has at home and is yielding good results from. We could not be more pleased in how this beast has continued to impress us every day since we brought him home and he is definitely one that ends up towards the top of everyone’s list when they leave here. Once again, we cannot extend enough thanks to Mike Fagg of Robin Ridge for his support in helping bring ALL SHOOK UP to Crossroads. If you obtain the excitement and joy of wanting to make red hogs that not only go out and compete but possess the pieces to hang the purple banner; then it’s time to get the party started and get ALL SHOOK UP!!!
