Often times when you have a good thing going you can never have too much of it. This is how we felt when we made our annual trip to the Fordice farm and found this Light ‘Em Up son. His sire has been the most successful sire of that breed for us since our start and one of the hottest sires of his breed across the country. Furthermore, he is a full sib to the popular Lifetime boar we purchased from them last year. His mother is a Flash Drive sow, who was Champion Duroc Gilt at the Indy Jr. Show in 2013, and is a littermate to the mother of Lifetime. The thing that never gets old or goes out of style when you visit the Fordice firm is their attention to build and design. Every hog they run out to us, you can ensure if going to be built impeccable at the ground and have that tall fronted show hog look. Round 2 is not exception to that model. One that is incredibly tall fronted and dead level from his blade to his hip. He comes at you busted open and leaves you with that same width advantage. His feet and legs are ideal in their placement and his bones are stout in their construction. Where Round 2 really impresses is the amount of mass he brings to the table. This one has an enormous blade and huge rib cage. Monster back with a huge hip. Balanced and tied together with that flawless structure that has hung so many banners for this firm. They say you can never have too much of a good thing so order up another round of purple banners with Round 2!!!
