With Reality and Final Judgment leading the charge of our Hampshire boar offering, we weren’t really looking for another one. When we had the opportunity to visit Evans & Newsom’s place, we were impressed with Time and knew we needed him at Crossroads. Time is one that is very unique both phenotypically and genetically. He is one that is extremely heavy structured with great width and added flexibility not seen in many Hampshire hogs. This mature boar is massive in every aspect being bold and big in his center body with good muscle shape down his top and extra look and design. He is out on the corners and flawless in his movement. Finally, he offers the grow power that Hampshire hogs need to be productive. The genetic side of this boar is very intriguing to boot as he goes back to the very productive Jerry Brink herd on the sow side. More so, his grandma is a very good Brink sow that Evans & Newsom purchased from Jerry. Time’s mother is a generator as well as she recently produced the Reserve Champion Hampshire Gilt at the ’11 IN State Fair Jr. Show and a littermate was 5th Overall Hampshire Gilt at the ’11 WPX.
