This summer we set out on a mission to find a Yorkshire boar that didn’t have any of the Final Move/Final Drive bloodlines in his pedigree so we had a Yorkshire boar to use on our sow herd that is heavily influenced with those popular lines and be able to offer an outcross pedigree to customers in the same boat. When RICOCHET strolled across the green shavings and we looked at our sheet to see his pedigree we knew we had found the boar we had in mind. He went on to be named Reserve Champion of the show and it took $60,000 to own this one but we are ecstatic that he’s in our stable. Thanks to our good friend Mike Fagg at Robin Ridge for teaming up with us to bring him to Clayton. We feel RICOCHET combines look, levelness, squareness, and flexibility to the highest degree. He is jerk necked with his head coming out of his blade like it should, level from blade to hip and as square and opened up as you can make them while staying inside their skeleton. He is big and bold about his top and down into his rib cage. Tie in his extra flexible stride with his big bones and we feel this one can make the next generation of Yorkshires better. Visitors thru the stud continue to be impressed with how RICOCHET has matured since Louisville with many stating he may be the best Yorkshire boar shown this summer!! We all know a RICOCHET can be deadly so make sure you are behind one if you want to take down the competition!!!
