This year was no different and many will agree that they may have brought one of their best ones out yet in their Colt 45 son they exhibited this go round. It took $36,000 to secure this class winner’s new address as Clayton, IN and we could not be more excited! Colt 45 needs little to no introduction to the showpig world. His successes on every level have been earned by elite ones. They say behind every great boar is a great mother, and the same lies with STANDOFF. She is a Monumental x Shoot ‘Em and is a littermate to the Champion Division 1 Hamp Barrow at the 2014 OYE. His grandmother is a littermate to Shooter and California Kid. Russell and Mark felt this was one of the most exciting ones they had exhibited in a while and we couldn’t agree more. The way this one combines and balances in terms of heaviness of structure, mass, and design are superb. Extremely tall fronted and cool-headed with a jet level look from the side. Square and true at the ground with big feet and legs. Athletic in the way his stride hits the ground.
