American Gangster

Stress Negative
Bred By: Lane Mai

Over the years, we have been very fortunate to find and lay in some really good crossbred boars from the WPX. We feel this is a bonus to get them in and accommodated early in the summer so they are ready to roll come fall. This year was no exception to the philosophy, and we feel we did it with a bang this time with our $51,000 purchase of the Champion Crossbred boar from Lane Mai. Sired by the popular and dominant Bone Thug and out of a purebred On the Verge Yorkshire sow. When this blue spotted boar hit the ring he blew us away in the way he combined power, mass, width, and flexibility. He carried his head high to let the rest of the competition know that he was one bad cat and we felt the only suitable name that could represent his demeanor was a name like AMERICAN GANGSTER. This one overwhelms with that amount of sheer bone and power he brings to the street. AMERICAN GANGSTER has tree trunks for legs and comes at you with a huge chest. He awes as he leaves with awesome width from behind with a square, true hock placement and flex to his rear pasterns. From the side he is tall fronted with a stout but cool and extended front end while maintaining a dead level design from blade to tail. When you get on top of AMERICAN GANGSTER, he has a massive, shapely top, huge center cavity, and explosive rump. The way he ties all this power and mass together on an extra flexible skeleton is impressive. We feel this guy is going to start his own legacy much in the way his daddy did and having a pure Yorkshire momma should only solidify his ability to consistently sire a deep, consistent set of babies. If you want to overtake the show ring scene with stout constructed, shapely show hogs then make sure you roll with an AMERICAN GANGSTER on your team!!!
