We were set on mission heading into the 2014 Crossbred Classic to find several headliners to bring back to Clayton and lay in with proven set of the last couple years. Things started off very strong this year with Driscoll boar that won the youngest class. It’s always fun to watch these young kids exhibit hogs in breeding shows with all the elder, elite breeders and Ryan & the entire Driscoll crew did a great job and came to Indy with a flat good one! He laid a strong foundation for what we were looking for and little did we know that he would go on to win the entire show coming out of the lightest class of the day! It took $36,000 to bring home this champion and we feel he is worth every penny! This one fires us up for the way he combines heaviness of structure, foot size, and base width with muscle and flexibility. YOUNG GUN reads with enormous bones and big feet. Stout from skull to tail in every aspect. He comes at you wide and true at the ground and leaves the same way. Up high, this stress negative beast is loaded with shape and muscle. From the side he is dead level and extra tall at the point of his shoulder. When this one sets into motion he is true in every step of his stride. He bested them all that day for just being the most complete, balanced package with all the extras. We are excited to put YOUNG GUN to work in our own herds and make him available to you as well.
