Having Mr. Twister in place here since spring, the momentum picking up on Kissin’ Cousins and Kentucky Lovin’ still being extremely popular, we felt we were in a comfortable spot with Berkshire boars but still wanted to go to Indiana looking for that key addition or two if we could find them. Low and behold we did and started it off in a big way with this Reserve Champion Overall & Champion Jr Division from S&P Showpigs. This Wanted x Kentucky Lovin’ son grabbed our attention as soon as he stepped foot in the ring. Sired by the popular Mauck boar, he brings a little different pedigree here for us and the Kentucky Lovin’ sow ensures we know how this one will work. His mom was purchased from Adam Beck & Family Showpigs in the spring of 2013 and is still one of the best Berkshire females to leave the farm. BOUNTY HUNTER warmed us up for being absolutely giraffe necked thru his front end. He offers a tall shouldered, clean-headed look that most long for in this breed. He reads from there with a dead level spine that carries back thru his hip. He is loaded with muscle from blade to tail and opens up with great rib shape and depth of body. BOUNTY HUNTER impresses at the ground as he is huge chested with the same width from behind. His running gears and square and true while being stout and big in their features. Special thanks to Matt Ritter & Family for teaming up with us to bring this one to Clayton.
