Power Play is the $10,000 Class Winning Boar from the 2013 WPX bred by Weisinger Farms. In Des Moines, he blew us away due to his impeccable levelness, flawless build and killer look. This one has come home and gotten better every day, as he has really matured out with more mass, rib and dimension than what he showed off in Iowa. We love the massive top and rump found in Power Play along with his soft, pliable rib. The way he ties that in to his extra tall shoulder and awesome front end is incredible. Feet and legs are extremely sound and flexible making this one the complete package. The set of Yorkshire show gilts that we feel Power Play will sire could be very high in demand next summer. We are a firm believer that it takes really good, functional boars to make those extra special females that go out and produce those “barrow boars” that so many people search for or try to make. Our opinion is that it takes the power females to produce those and we feel Power Play is just that boar to make that incredible set of foundation type Yorkshire or Cross females.
