During multiple visits to Larwill this summer, our pick of the powerful lot offered in The Exchange 2025 by Shiess Livestock was without question the 85 litter! So much so, that Dillion was gracious enough to let us take a pair of them home with us!
-
As impressive of a litter top to bottom that we have seen with multiple littermates finding some of the best show homes in the country for the fall season!
-
Sired by Dagger, the popular Upperhand boar, that much like the 85 litter, hails from a deep litter that included these major wins in the Fall of 2024: Reserve Grand Overall Market Hog at NAILE, Reserve Grand Overall Gilt at American Royal, Grand & Reserve Grand Overall Barrows at NJSA Eastern Regional!
-
The sow side responsible for this pair of 85 litter boars is potent as well being a littermate to the following: Bearpaw (sire of 2025 NJSS Grand Gilt), Reserve Division 1 Gilt 2024 Exposition, and many time Champion Gilt in Ohio for the Genter Family!
-
The difference maker of the brothers in terms of moderation and stoutness without sacrificing build!
-
Incredibly heavy boned, big footed one that plants true at the ground off both ends and can flat get out and go!
-
Opened up when he drives at you, while leaving you in an equally as impressive manor!
-
Appropriate height to length ratio to set the tone of making banner hanging red barrows!
-
Rolled up and expansive about his back, round in his mid-body shape, and pliable about his belly!
-
Offers a tall fronted read to his height of shoulder while reading stout about his mug!
-
Sky is the limit with what he appears he can do!
-
Slice your way to the top quickly with a SWITCHBLADE!
